During Sunday morning worship, nursery care is provided for children from infants up to five years old. We strongly encourage parents to keep their children with them in worship. We feel that there is something important about kids experiencing the sounds and sights of worship, even if they aren’t old enough to fully understand them. Seriously…we don’t mind crying/noisy kids!
If you do want to take your child to the nursery, we have worked hard to create a fun, safe environment for them! The nursery is located on the lower level of the building, at the end of the long hallway. The kids play, watch movies/listen to stories with spiritual themes, and take part in art and craft projects under full-time supervision. There is a TV in the nursery that broadcasts worship as it is taking place, so everyone in the nursery can still take part in the worship experience.
If you decide to take your child to the nursery, they must be signed in and out by the same parent. For security and safety purposes, we will not allow a child to leave with anyone but the parent who signs them in (so if mom signs them in, dad/older brother/older sister cannot come get them). We have done our best to make sure that you do not have to worry about your children when you take them to the nursery.
We view our nursery as more than just a place to “stick your kids.” We feel that it is part of our mission to provide an atmosphere where even the youngest children can be nurtured in faith and fellowship.
